macOS vs Windows setup
PassInterviews ships native desktop apps for both macOS and Windows with the same core product: real-time answers, stealth overlay, and local resume context. Setup differs mainly in download package and OS permission prompts.
What is the same
- Real-time interview copilot with streaming answers.
- Stealth overlay controls (share-exclusion, opacity, click-through, hide).
- Resume kept on device for session personalization.
- Works alongside Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams.
- Same subscription plans on Pricing.
macOS notes
- Install from the macOS download on Download.
- Expect permission dialogs for microphone and, when prompted, screen-related access needed for stealth and capture behavior.
- Complete permissions before interview day so prompts do not appear mid-call.
Windows notes
- Install from the Windows download on the same Download page.
- Allow microphone/audio access when Windows or the app requests it.
- Run a Meet/Teams/Zoom share test on the PC you will use. GPU and share pickers differ by machine.
