How the stealth overlay works

Stealth is a core product feature on every plan, not a separate add-on. The overlay sits on your display only; it is built so shared windows and meeting tools do not capture it when configured correctly.

What stealth means in practice

• Share-exclusion: keep the overlay out of the shared screen or window when the OS and meeting app support it.
• Opacity: dial how visible the guidance is to you without making it a bright rectangle on your desk camera view.
• Click-through: mouse clicks pass through the overlay so it never blocks your IDE, browser, or meeting controls.
• Hide shortcuts: quickly hide or show the overlay mid-interview if you need a clean desktop for a moment.
• Stay on top: keep answers above meeting and coding windows while you work.

Supported meeting and coding surfaces

We design and test for Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams, plus browser-based coding platforms such as LeetCode and HackerRank. Platform-specific notes live on Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams.

How to set it up

1. Install and sign in. Download the macOS or Windows app from Download, create your account, and open the desktop client before interview day.
2. Turn on stealth controls. In the app, enable share-exclusion / stealth mode, then set opacity and click-through so guidance stays readable without blocking clicks.
3. Practice a real screen share. Join a test call with a friend, share the same window or screen you will use live, and confirm they cannot see the overlay. Repeat after OS or meeting-app updates.

What we guarantee, and what you should still test

We guarantee the copilot stays invisible on Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and the coding platforms we support when stealth is enabled.
